Aleenya grabbed him by the top of his arm and started to drag him towards the door.

Crane didn't respond, and just allowed himself to be dragged, following the two crazy people. "See?" Ash exclaimed, getting in the driver's seat, "He's not even asking what we're doing!"

"It's not natural," Aleenya murmured. "Let's go somewhere exciting. Your pick."

"I want to find a random person, tie them up, and drag them into a warehouse and be evil," Ash said vaguely.

"Ooh! That gives me an idea. Be right back." Aleenya hopped out of the car, darted into the house, and returned a moment later carrying an iron. "I've been wanting to try it for awhile," she explained.

Ash raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Hopefully you can find an outlet." Crane got in the back seat of the car.

"I can think of a few abandoned warehouses with electricity." Aleenya grinned. "Ah, this city. Hope you brought your gas, Craneling."

"If not, I brought it for him," Ash said, pulling out the gas with the dispenser.

"Lovely! Let's get going, then." Aleenya buckled her seat belt.

~~~From Outside.
Ash turned on the news right when they got home. "Already, you think?" Aleenya asked, lounging on the couch. "They're usually speedy when we do strange, noticeable things," Ash pointed out. Crane pulled a dining chair up near the couch to watch alone. Shortly, the breaking news came. They had no idea what the point was, but it was annoying. Crane seemed to agree. "In their latest antics," began the news guy, "the trio of Aleenya Moss, Ash* Sheridan, and the former psychiatrist, recently returned Jonathan Crane, now confirmed to be the Scarecrow, have reminded the city of Gotham of their presence in an unusual way. Pieces of wrapped candy littered dozens of Gotham streets and landed in the pockets of unsuspecting citizens. Not only this, but recent reports show that they seem to have put sugar in the entire water supply. Citizens are reminded to not drink any water until it has been tested. They have also stolen every toothbrush in stores as well as in warehouses and stockpiles. "They put their names to the confusion in a deadly display. 41 year old, Tobias Schindler was murdered when a bag of candy weighing nearly 40 pounds landed on his head from the roof of the Kharlan Tower. Schindler died on impact and several others were injured by flying candy. A banner inside the bag was found, displaying the names 'Aleenya' and 'Paroxysm', along with a message stating 'Sweet dreams.' The words were spray-painted over a banner from the city's dentistry society. While Crane's name was not signed, witnesses report seeing a man of his description, and the unfortunate tale of Kyla Fields indicates that it appears he has allied himself with the terrible two. Temporary police commissioner Scarlett Jaide warns the public to not eat any candy found and has sent a team to discover the safety of the water."
"We're giving people candy and they feel threatened," Aleenya complained. She grabbed the remote and turned the volume down. "See, society hates us for some reason."
Ash laughed in response. "I wonder why." Crane rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "And starting her new work as police commissioner, Scarlett Jaide has begun to do what no other Gotham commissioner could fathom. As you may remember, the majority of Gotham's police force has mysteriously quit their jobs, and it is believed that they were bribed with money by the criminal underworld. Commissioner Scarlett Jaide has decided to begin a full-frontal attack against the corruption in the police force, arresting several former policemen who are believed to have taken bribes. Although her forces are small, Commissioner Jaide has no intentions of letting crime be."
"Seriously?" Aleenya asked the TV, raising her eyebrows. She turned it back up again. "There are bigger things to deal with. Like, say, us."
Ash grinned. "Doesn't that basically tell us 'no cops to get in the way?'"
