"Yeah!" Cate said happily. "I mean, no pressure. But we're curious!"

Haymich blinked a few times, and looked surprisingly embarassed. "Uh. Well," he looked thoughtful for a second, and then resumed sweeping with a neutral look. "I'd say not 'til I was 'bout yer age. Kissed my best friend, then realized I wasn't that into ladies. Turns out she wasn't into me either, so it worked itself out." Haymich then swirled around, pointing at the two of them. "But you gotta answer too! Not just me! And Ash too, cause I don't have that life long friendship you two got!"
Ash laughed at that, and tossed a broken something out the door. "Middle school. Didn't find it all that exciting. I think it was raining."

"When I was leaving my boyfriend's house," Cate said. "Also not that exciting." She looked down at her phone. "Next question... these ones are all BS... there we go. What was the last picture you took with your phone?"

Ash paused, and looked at her phone. "Me and Aleenya," she said, holding it out for Cate to see. "And a blurry Crane. It was.. I think after dinner back at home one time."
Glancing at Haymich, she found him proudly holding up his beaten looking flip phone. "Never have!" he said proudly.

"You've never taken a picture on there?" Cate demanded, incredulous. "I don't believe you!"

Haymich put the phone on the counter and slid it over before cheerily returning to his work. "Check for yerself!"
Ash began shoving all the extra big stuff into a corner.

Cate nodded. "I am impressed," she said. "Mine's just a picture of the floor I accidentally took this morning."

Ash began laughing at that. "Sounds accurate," she said. "What's next?"

Cate looked down at the phone again. "You discover that your wonderful one year old child is because of a mix up at the hospital and not yours. Would you want to exchange the child to correct the mistake?"

Haymich kept his eyes on his work, hoping Ash would answer this one first. The awkward silence that followed showed she wouldn't, and Haymich couldn't help but hold the broom tighter. "No. Abandoning a kid is the worst thing anyone could do."
Ash nodded, answering slowly after Haymich's tone grew serious. "I wouldn't. I'd keep in touch with the other family, if I could, though." She paused, still holding whatever she had picked up. "We need cleaning supplies. Could Anne steal cleaning stuff?"

"I can steal anything," Aleenya said, coming into the room. "I was just gonna ask you what you have for cleaning stuff, but I can go get something."
Cate looked at Anne. "Who is your hero?" she asked.
Anne blinked, momentarily taken aback. "Um. That's random. I'm gonna say the chick from that episode of Doctor Who with the sand dune planet. She's a thief, too. It inspired me." With that, she disappeared out the front door to go steal shiitake mushrooms.

"Make sure you get a lot!" Ash called behind her, adding a thanks at the end. "Wait, Cate, the kid thing, what would you do?"

"Keep them," Cate answered promptly. "Next question. Do you like guacamole? Have you ever been in a food fight?"

"I hate avocado," Ash answered quickly. "And not a big, throwing food fight."
Haymich raised an eyebrow as he fussed with a particularly dusty corner. "Guac' is amazin', and do bar brawls count?"

"Only if they involve food," Cate said. "On my part, yes, and no."
