She narrowed her eyes. "Why are you trying to find the ways in which we are similar? Not that I don't agree, but this seems rather unlike you." Killian thought for a second, then said, "Also, we both have a serious God complex."

(DOCTOR WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.)
"You're the living remnant from that time in my life," Aleenya said. She sighed. "It was a good time, for once. Until you shot him."

"So you are here...to kill me? To reminisce? What is the point, exactly. Because if I'm not about to be mortally injured, I'd like to get back to unpacking," Killian replied, bored.

"I just..." Aleenya hesitated. "We have something in common. You remember that time as a good time too, am I right? We both blame the other for the destruction. And we're both right, but... I feel like I understand you. More than others. Because we're the same."

Killian blinked. Was she actually trying to connect? This was...incredible. Almost unprecedented with anyone Aleenya didn't consider a fellow criminal. "Uhh, yeah, actually. I've done a lot of thinking over the years. Hated you for a good part of them, pretty understandably, but the other part was...curious. About what you thought."

Aleenya rubbed her hand against her face tiredly. "Honestly? I think I see a lot of it the same as you. Although..." She laughed bitterly. "At least you didn't spend your years in an asylum."

Killian laughed. "It might as well have been that. I ended up in prison, actually. I went on a bit of a...spree...after I left Gotham. The consequences didn't matter, just the acts themselves. And people were scared of me, oh yes. Thanks to the scars." She smiled and went on, "I met someone in prison who taught me control, how to survive in that environment. Saved my life."

Aleenya watched her curiously. "And now?" she asked. "Have you 'morally reformed?' Realized your wrongs, never going to do such a horrid thing again?"

Killian paused and thought. "My values are different, I guess. But if the cops and the laws are wrong or corrupt, like they are here, I'm gonna go ahead and do whatever the fragdaggle I want, thanks so much. I'll do what I have to."

"Most of the ones in charge are fine," Aleenya said. "Not corrupt, but also unable to catch me. Then there's Scarlett, who is hypothetically not corrupt, but... well, slightly more worrying when it comes to catching." She frowned. "Sorry, but 'doing what you have to' had better not involve allowing her to get any more power than she already has."

"She's probably just doing her job, to be fair. But I have no business with them unless they do with me. As for the others...this place is charged with tension, its everywhere. I hope they're stably seated on their thrones when it breaks," Killian replied uneasily.

"Doing her job..." Aleenya muttered. "Trust me. She's broken a few laws herself. Oh, Killian." She smirked. "Quite a bit has happened. Your warehouse is still standing, though, if you were wondering."

"Really, now? I wonder how I'd react to seeing it again...what have you all been up to in the past decade or so?"

"Lots of it?" Aleenya said dryly. "Asylum. Things have happened since, then. When did you leave?"

"After the last one died....so 8ish years I think?" And strangely, she was able to say this without antagonism. There was no hate left for this crazed woman who had murdered her entire family.
