Sequoia smirked as she piled two dollar bills into a sturdy black backpack and then swung it into place. The chaos she would cause... it would be marvelous. Sequoia was young to be breaking into Fort Knox, only nineteen. Her dark hair went to her shoulders in a rather choppy cut, packed with blonde highlights. At that particular moment she was wearing practical clothing-- military style, so that she'd blend in-- with sturdy black hiking boots. Her hands also sported gloves and her backpack, other than just money, held several useful tools. She gestured at Kairos that it was time to go.

Kairos glanced around, making doubly sure there was nothing else of value to them in the vault. The two dollar bills were just a slap in the face to the government. The REAL treasure in breaking into Fort Knox was leaving it open when they left. It would be anarchy, chaos, a free for all for every thief within a hundred miles.
Kairos was tall, and still had all the angles of the early teenage years, despite being 20. He had floppy sandy hair and a wide face that grinned easily and mischievously. He was also in military gear, except for his combat boots. They were flagrantly buckled and studded and zippered in all sorts of unnecessary places. "Time to flee?" He asked, completely relaxed.

"Oh, I wouldn't call it fleeing," Sequoia said with a grin. "Let's go."

"Methinks the lady doth protest too much..." Kairos replied in a singsong voice. "Besides, fleeing sounds so much more interesting than just plain old leaving."

Sequoia raised an eyebrow. "Ah, but 'flee' implies that they could catch us. And we both know that that's not gonna happen."

"Well, not today, certainly, we've taken too many precautions. Your confidence will be the doom of us someday, though!" Kairos said mournfully, obviously teasing.

"I dunno, I think it makes it more interesting," Sequoia murmured. "C'mon." She started to run.

"Of course it does," he whispered to the empty air. Then Kairos followed her out of the vault.

(Oh, you posted! I'm proud of you.)
Sequoia launched herself into a sprint.

Kairos sighed. "Ah, the running thing." And followed her, catching up quickly with longer legs.

"Yeah, the running thing is over," Sequoia said when they reached the door. She abruptly stopped sprinting and casually walked out, ignoring the beeping alarms. Kairos blew past her, still running. He laughed at her and skipped to the car. Sequoia softly snorted as people started to chase him, leaving her completely alone. Nobody qustioned her as she went through the security required to leave. His laugh broke off as he saw his pursuers and he sped up to get to the car. He fumbled with the keys, opened the car, got in, and locked it. Sequoia started to laugh openly. She suddenly ran out of the place, and then pressed a button. Stuff blew up. Lots of stuff, allowing for access to the rest of the world. The men had almost gotten to the car when things exploded violently. They turned around, stunned. In that time, Kairos started the car and ran them over a litt.e Not full out, 'DIEDIEDIE' car as death running over, but he bumped into them forcefully. "Kay, no go," Sequoia said urgently as the puncual money-craving people they had summoned began to rush in. "Sorry They were just too tempting." Kairos drove. Sequoia smirked as she watched the chaos into the mirror. She opened the window and tossed the money out. "Awww. I wanted food," Kairos said unhappily. "Their utter confusion might be worth it, though." "Definitely." Sequoia grinned.
